tiesinė regresija statusas T sritis biomedicinos mokslai apibrėžtis ↑Regresijos rūšis, rodanti, kad priklausomo ↑kintamojo vidutinės reikšmės kinta proporcingai, lyginant su nepriklausomais kintamaisiais. Priklausomo kintamojo vidutinių reikšmių ir nepriklausomų kintamųjų ryšį išreiškia tiesinė lygtis. Lygties koeficientai rodo ryšio stiprumą tarp priklausomo kintamojo ir atitinkamo nepriklausomo kintamojo. Taikant tiesinę regresiją, priklausomais kintamaisiais pasirenkami tokie kintamieji, kurių reikšmių pasiskirstymas panašus į ↑normalųjį skirstinį.
